NEW RESOURCE INTRODUCTION
It is with great pride that I write to introduce you to the LGBT National Help Center and welcome you as a resource in our national database.
We are a non-profit and tax-exempt organization, dedicated in helping LGBT people of all ages across the country. We operate three national hotlines, the LGBT National Hotline, the LGBT National Youth Talkline, and the LGBT Senior Hotline along with an online one-to-one peer support chat. Through the use of our toll-free phone numbers and online service, callers and chatters are able to receive local resources for every area of the country. In addition to referrals to groups and organizations, the LGBT National Help Center provides detailed referrals to doctors, lawyers, therapists and other professionals.
The public can also access our full database at www.LGBTnearMe.org
The services of the LGBT National Help Center are completely confidential and totally free. In addition to accessing our service over conventional toll-free phone lines, we are also available online and through various other electronic means.
Many of our volunteers bring years of experience with other similar local organization. And while we are an independent organization, we work in partnership with many of the local switchboards and hotlines across the country in order to build a network of strong support for our community.
